Westminster Assembly Project
The Westminster Assembly Project exists to publish the minutes and papers of the Westminster Assembly of Divines from 1643 – 1652. As you know, this group of men crafted the Westminster Confession of Faith and catechisms. The minutes and some newly discovered manuscripts we intend to publish cover the Westminster Assembly’s formal debates over theology, worship, sacraments, ecclesiology and pastoral care (1643-49) as well as the proceedings of the “rump” committee which continued to ordain ministers after the Assembly completed its major tasks. 7-29-03
